Climate Change is the world's most concerning topic in 2020. ‘Climate change is the change in weather conditions which leads to unpredictable and in most cases extreme weather events.’ 1  In this blog we will be discussing one major factor contributing to the climate crisis which is carbon footprints. Defining carbon footprint is hard for scientists as different types of research and data has helped to define it. ‘Carbon footprint stands for an amount of gaseous emissions that are linked to the enhancement of climate change and is more commonly associated with human production and human activity.’ 2  This therefore emphasises the need for the awareness into this subtopic of climate change, which is why this blog will educate into different aspects of carbon footprint and what this means for individuals as a result. This will include; Climate change- the facts and the figures and the science behind the issue, Climate change and the law, Education of the younger generation, behavioural changes in lifestyles and the personal responsibility of the impacts.

This blog is being used for academic purposes only for the module Academic Skills 2 2019/2020 and all research used is referenced and included in our own work.
